Design

This printer measures 15.2” x 27.2” x 8.5” and weighs 43.2 pounds. It seems big to be moved and its build quality leaves little bit doubt about the ruggedness and durability of it. Pro-100 comes with a square design & a cuboids design. When not in use, the trays and paper holders fold up & latch in place nicely to make for a cleaner look. It also gives a premium feel.

There are 3 buttons only on the printer: the power button, a dedicated WPS button, and a paper feed button. It’d been nice to see a screen of some type for viewing ink levels & navigating the menu.

Connectivity

This printer comes with Wi-Fi connectivity. To set it up with the dedicated WPS button on its front, you should have a compatible router. Print Quality

Pro-100 is designed for printing photos. However, if you want to print off a standard document, the text & graphics look fantastic, even on standard printer papers. Anyway, this printer really delivers stunning prints.

Based on the official website of Canon, we can see that this printer is priced at 500 dollars. But on B&H Photo, Pro-100 is priced 360 dollars with a 200-dollar mail-in rebate, bringing the final price to 160 dollars only. These rebates are common for such printer. If you keep an eye out, this printer is scored for 100 dollars or less a few times if bought with a Canon camera.

Compared to Epson SureColor P400, this one offers a better maximum resolution. Besides that, it can also print a little bit faster at 50 second for an 8×10” print when compared to 68 seconds for the Epson SureColor P400. Considering the set of features, Canon PIXMA PRO-100 comes out on top. The price is also more affordable, making it a better choice.
