How to Setup the Brother Printer on the Mobile Device
The Brother printer is one of the most popular printers in the market. One of the reasons for its popularity is because it is compatible with a wide range of mobile devices. The Brother printer can be setup on mobile devices to print images and documents wirelessly.
In order to set up the Brother Printer on the mobile device, you need to follow these steps to setup your printer first:
1) Press the Menu button.
2) Select ‘Network’ and click ‘OK’.
3) Select ‘Wi-Fi Direct’ and click ‘OK’.
4) Select ‘Manual’ and click ‘OK’.
5) You will get the SSID and the password of the network provided by the printer. You need to write it down, because you need to input that into your phone later.
Setup Your Android Device
1) Download Brother iPrint&Scan from the PlayStore.
2) Install the apps, after installing done, no need to open it as we need to configure the Wi-Fi first.
3) Open ‘Settings’ menu usually displayed using cog icon.
4) Click ‘Connections’ and then ‘Wi-Fi’
5) You can turn it on if it’s turned off.
6) After turning your Wi-Fi on, you should be able to see your printer SSID in there, if not just turn off your Wi-Fi and turn it on again to make your android device searching for it again. Choose the printer SSID and then input the password.
7) Open your Brother iPrint&Scan apps on your phone.
8) Click ‘No Device Selected’ and choose your printer.
9) You can print or scan using your printer using the apps.
Setup Your Apple Device
1) Download Brother iPrint&Scan from the AppStore.
2) Install the apps, after installing done, no need to open it as we need to configure the Wi-Fi first.
3) Open ‘Settings’ menu usually displayed using cog icon.
4) Click ‘Wi-Fi’
5) You can turn it on if it’s turned off.
6) After turning your Wi-Fi on, you should be able to see your printer SSID in there, if not just turn off your Wi-Fi and turn it on again to make your android device searching for it again. Choose the printer SSID and then input the password.
7) Open your Brother iPrint&Scan apps on your phone.
8) Click ‘No Device Selected’ and choose your printer.
9) You can print or scan using your printer using the apps.
